Europeana

"Pergamos" supports the OAI-PMH protocol and the Europeana Data Model (EDM) standard, for interoperability purposes with Europeana, the European Digital Library.

In particular, the edm metadata format is supported for the encoding of metadata in an XML format compatible with Europeana.

OAI-PMH & Dublin Core

"Pergamos" supports the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) and the Dublin Core standard in order to ensure interoperability with metadata harvesters.

In particular, the oai_dc metadata format is supported for encoding metadata in XML format.

"Pergamos" supports an open REST/JSON API to enable interoperability with third-party applications.
