About Pergamos

Open Science

The platform's contents are mainly freely available to the general public, since "Pergamos" adopts open access policies (an exception is material that is either subject to archival and copyright restrictions or that its creator has requested the imposition of spatial or temporal restrictions). However, precisely because of Pergamos' openness and interoperability, the metadata of digital objects and the digital material itself are easier to locate and become more widely known on the internet.

However, it should be noted that, unless otherwise expressly stated, access to the material (digital or not) contained in Pergamos and any use thereof (e.g. printing, storing, copying, posting on social networks, etc.) is permitted exclusively for educational, research and private purposes, but not for commercial purposes.

Furthermore, any use of the material must be accompanied by an explicit reference to its origin along with its permanent electronic address in Pergamos (also known as Permalink or Persistent URL), as well as to the creator of the original entry/posting in the Repository.

Summarizing, the contents of Pergamos, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are generally available for use under the "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0)" license.
