Deposit Process
The deposit process begins when you select "Login" to access your personalised services.
After you authenticate through "Login via CAS", the available services are displayed. Select "Research material" to go to the "My material" section.
In this section, you can:
- view and edit material you have deposited in Pergamos in the "scientific publications, research and other material" collection; or
- start a new deposit by selecting the appropriate option: "Create" or "Import > DOI" for a single publication, or "Import > BibTeX / RIS" to import multiple publications in bulk.
The following example describes manual entry of one publication using the "Create" option:
The process has two stages. First, you enter descriptive metadata for the publication's bibliographic record. Then you edit the material further: upload a digital file where needed, revise metadata, and notify and link the other authors if they belong to NKUA.
The system supports different material types with different metadata forms. You must choose the material type at the start of the deposit. The list appears after you select "Add". The following nine types are offered:
- Journal article
- Conference contribution (conference paper, short paper or poster)
- Monograph (book or book chapter)
- Preprint (work in progress)
- Technical report
- Research dataset
