TODO - Ethical standards have a basis in antiquity and changes in practice need
to be measured by moral considerations that are slower to change. This
paper considers present day ethical problems in clinical
trials-especially in infection, conflict of interest, financing of
scientific studies and publishing (or non-publishing) of the results.
