TODO - This is a preliminary paper of my forthcoming study about the life and work of Daniel, the Protopsaltes of the Great Church of Constantinople (+ 1789). The present “prodromic announcement” focus at the main points of the mentioned monography; these are the following: I. About the life of Daniel the Protopsaltes: His origin, his teachers, his psaltic and didactic activity, his students, his codicographical activity, his death. II. About the work of Daniel the Protopsaltes: General characteristics of his musical work, the historical position of that musical work, rage, value, affection, population of the some work and – finally – an analytical catalogue of his compositions.

 

Πρόδρομη ἀνακοίνωση τῆς ἑτοιμαζόμενης εἰδικῆς μονογραφίας-προσωπογραφίας γιὰ τὸν βίο καὶ τὸ ἔργο τοῦ Δανιὴλ πρωτοψάλτου. Τόσο ὁ βίος (καταγωγή, μαθητεία, ψαλτικὴ διακονία, διδασκαλικὴ θητεία, κωδικογραφικὴ δραστηριότητα, θάνατος), ὅσο καὶ τὸ ἔργο (γενικὰ χαρακτηριστικά, ἱστορικὴ θέση, εὖρος, ἀξία, ἐπιδράσεις καὶ διάδοση) τοῦ πρωτοψάλτου Δανιὴλ ἐκτίθενται ἐδῶ λεπτομερῶς, ἀλλὰ παράλληλα ἐπαρκῶς καὶ ὁπωσδήποτε ἐνδεικτικῶς τῆς πλέον ἐξειδικευμένης διεισδυτικῆς ἀναφορᾶς ποὺ μεθοδικὰ προετοιμάζω.
