Αξιοπιστία και εγκυρότητα του ερωτηματολογίου Parenting Style Questionnaire σε δείγμα του νομού Αττικής
Summary:
Parenthood is the state during which parents contribute to the formation and
the growth of the child. The purpose of this research is the translation and
the weighting of the questionnaire "Parenting Style Questionnaire" that counts
the parental types to Greek population. For the weighting of the questionnaire,
330 questionnaires have been filled in from parents in Attica region. The
sample contained 127 men and 203 women. Median age was 47 years old and the
Standard Deviation SD=8.076. The analyzing of the results showed a satisfactory
spread as the Cronbach index alpha in our research is a=0.814 for fathers and
a=0.780 for mothers. Finally, based on the exploratory factor analysis, the
questionnaire seems to have a high semantic validity of representative content
since all questions charged to all 3 original factors of parental style (bossy,
supportive and permissive parent) according to its initial weighting.
