Πλασματοκυτταρικές δυσκρασίες-μακροσφαιριναιμία waldenstrom-διερεύνηση της σημασίας της νεοαγγειογένεσης
Summary:
The purpose of this study is to study the angiogenesis in patients mith WM and
to correlate it with clinical-laboratory data and survival. We studied 36
patients with WM for whom there were available data for the angiogenesis. We
associated the microvascular density (MVD) and the total vasculary area (TVA)
with white blood cells, haemoglobulin, platelets, total protein, albumin,
lactic dehydrogonase, b2-microglobulin and lymphadenopathy and no statistically
significant correlation was found between them.Furthermore, no statistically
significant correlation was found between OVS, MVD, axis major, axis minor,
area, perimeter and . On the contrary we found strong correlation between OVS
and total vasculary area (p: 0,031). The above variables were also correlated
with the time to treatment In this statistical analysis the only statistically
significant correlation was found between total vaqsculary area and time to
treatment (p:0,028). Therefore, angiogenesis could be a basic
pathophysiological parameter to the development of the disease.
