The relation between the presence of FOXO3A polymorphisms and (TA) n repeated sequence of ESR1 in women undergoing IVF.
Summary:
In the present study, we studied the relation between the presence of FOXO3A
polymorphisms and (TA) n repeated sequence of ESR1, and women who are control
and women who are characterized as poor responders. The first of the
polymorphisms of FOXO3A (3A .7) is presented in poor responders at a percentage
of 50%. In contrast to 3A .7, the second polymorphism of FOXO3A (3Α .6 ) is
absent in both groups (poor responders and controls) . As long as the repeated
sequence of ESR1 is concerned, the group of control women had longer repeated
sequence (TA)n than the group of control women. Conclusively, these
polymorphisms are able to be used as molecular markers for the evaluation of
women undergoing IVF.
