Τεχνικές υπότασης / ελάττωσης αιματικής ροής κατά τη διάρκεια εvδαγγειακών επεμβάσεων κατιούσης θωρακικής αορτής
Summary:
Migration of the endograft remains a problem encountered in thoracic
endovascular
aortic procedures. Certain techniques that have been recruited in order to
create a
better hemodynamic environment and to avoid the phenomenon, include rapid right
ventricular pacing, nitrates- induced controlled hypotension (through
nitroglycerin and
sodium nitroprusside) and deep hypotension induced by the use of adenosine, due
to
impermanent cardiac cessation. In this review study we have included literature
information on the subject, concluding to an adequate efficacy and satisfactory
safety
offered by all three methods to those endovascular surgeons who choose to apply
them. The final choice is up to the endovascular surgeon depending on his/her
personal training and experience, as well as the experience of the team that
supports
him.
