Summary:
Stem cells are primitive hematopoietic cells, rich in number, who have the
ability to differentiate into all cell lines and to renew themselves in order
to create copies of themselves throughout the lifetime of an organism.
The origin of information on the use of stem cells is mainly from the media and
to a smaller extent by health professionals. The economic factor seems to be an
important criterion for the decision to guard cells.
