Conformational Analysis of peptides with potential bioactivity against depression and multiple sclerosis
Summary:
In this thesis, the conformations of bioactive peptides that may show
bioactivity against depression and multiple sclerosis were studied. The given
structures were structurally elucidated and their conformational analysis was
achieved using a combination of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy
and in silico computational analysis. The acquired information on the peptide’s
conformational analysis gave important clues for the understanding of the
pharmacophore features responsible for their biological activity.
