Summary:
The subject of the Thesis is the applied methods for the determination of the
complex permittivity and the complex permeability of different materials in
high frequencies, from microwaves up to millimeter waves. There are many
methods, such as resonant method, reflection method and transmission/reflection
method, which have been discussed in detail by prominent researchers in the
past. Their researches have been introduced in many applications of the most
knowledgeable companies on the microwave sector, such as Agilent and Rohde &
Schwarz.
