Summary:
This thesis was prepared at the Physics Department of the University of Athens
as part of the master graduate program ''Environmental Physics''. The study was
based on specific measurements related to the physics and quality of air
indoors. The equipment used has been provided by the accredited laboratory of
Indoor Air Quality and Atmospheric Environment of the University of Athens. The
aim is monitoring the air quality in teaching rooms and places that students
spend the most of their time on daily basis while being at the Physics
department during spring semester of 2015. For that cause concentrations of
particulate matter (PM10, PM2.5 and PM1), carbon dioxide (CO2), the number of
commuters along with temperature (oC) and relative humidity (%) were recorded
inside and outside of the Physics department building.
