Original Title:
Μια μοντελοποίηση της αντίληψης της διάδοσης του οφέλους σε συσχέτιση με τη διάδοση της εμπιστοσύνης
Translated title:
A model of the perception of gain propagation relating to trust propagation
Summary:
One of Game Theory’s most useful tools to study cooperation is the widely known
Prisoner’s Dilemma. Most game theoretic approaches, however intricate, ignore
basic cognitive functions of the players. In fact, it is usually assumed that
all players are rational and seek to maximize profit rationally.
On the other hand, in Multiagent Systems (MAS) we have seen many models to
include and examine a variety of cognitive functions or characteristics.
The current project, seeking to model the perception of profit propagation
relating to the propagation of trust, approaches cognitive characteristics both
through Game Theory, by adhering to the established notions regarding profit
acquisition through cooperative behaviors, as well as from MAS, by borrowing
its modeling flexibility regarding cognitive characteristics. Players are
attributed memory, perception of vicinity (as a spatial representation of
peers) and information about winning behaviors.
This model was implemented using Matlab.
