Summary:
This thesis deals with developments in the telecommunication sector across
Europe and the way they have evolved in recent decades. A detailed presentation
of the concept of Marketing and the notion of Market orientation in modern
telecommunications markets in Europe is attempted. This analysis is carried out
through the investigation on a set of European countries in order to examine
the extent of adoption of Market Orientation and how this ideology influences
their business strategies.
