Translated title:
The Socrates’ elenchos
Summary:
The present thesis refers to the Socrates’ elenchos, namely the teaching method
of the great Philosopher Socrates, as this is shown in the early Platonic
dialogues. As well as it is possibly practicable, it is a more detailed effort
on referring to his method, and more specifically to the elenchus structure,
the characteristics of the method and last but not least to the problems which
have occurred in the past regarding this method. The present thesis also gives
some basic information for the manner and the purpose of the Philosophers’
teaching method, based on the archetype texts, as well as on the contemporary
