Summary:
The goal of this diploma thesis is the study and analysis of the harmful
influence that an electromagnetic emission exerts in the human body. In the
areas where there is long term human inhabitance such as houses, outdoors
spaces and mainly professional spaces, electromagnetic radiation is
continuously flowing due to unprecedented usage of devices such as mobile
telephony and wireless computer networks. The following study encompasses six
chapters that analyze thoroughly the effects of the ionizing radiation and
non-ionizing radiation, the protection measures, the regulations and the legal
frame that has been passed by states and international organizations for the
protection of people and environment alike, and that can be applied to
workplace and our residence.
