Summary:
On August 7, 2013 a moderate earthquake (NKUA Μw=5.3, NOA Mw=5.4) occurred in
Kallidromo mountain, central Greece. In the first chapter we examine the
geological data and the seismic history of Fthiotis area. It is important to
interpret the results of the disaster.In the second chapter we examine if Civil
Protection of Greece and the public administration in general are ready to
handle an emergency like that.Finally we analyze the results and point the
difficulties during the whole process
