Summary:
The aim of this thesis was to study the arsenic concentrations in sea sediments
that came from Gulf of Eleusis, Saronic Gulf, Delta of Achelous river, Delta of
Pineios River, North Crete, Spercheios River and Maliakos Gulf. The analytical
method of the determination was with Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy engaged
with hydrid generation system. The highest concentrations were located in the
industrial zones of Eleusis Gulf, Saronic Gulf and Maliakos Gulf.
