Summary:
In the work presented in this thesis we carried out is the synthesis and
characterization of[Cu(2,2'-bis-COOEtdppz)2](BF4)and [Cu(dppz)(dppe)](BF4)
complexes. We also studied the interaction of these complexes with calf-thymus
DNA. We carried out viscosity experiments, electrophoresis,uv-VIS spectrometry
and other experiments. The results about the first complex is that interacts
with DNA throught intercalation. Concerning the second one, it interacts
throught electrostatic interaction. Both complexes gave very satisfying results
concerning the cancer cells they were studied with.
