Summary:
In this thesis one metal free and two new phthalocyanine complexes with Zn2+,
Cd2+ were synthesizedand characterized. These phthalocyanine complexes contain
two additional rings with four sulfur atoms per phthalocyanine substructure.
The synthetic route of the complexes appears diagrammatically in Scheme 1. The
synthesistook place in presence of appropriate metal salts(CdCl2
H2OorZn(CH3COO)2).The structures and synthesis of the new complexes were
confirmed by IR, Raman, UV-Visspectroscopy and TGA.Finally, theoretical
calculations were also performed to complexes and the results supported the
corresponding experimental data.
