Synthesis,characterization and study of catalytic activity of Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes containing (P-N-P) type ligands
In this wok,the synthesis of bidentate ligands of the
phosporus-nitrogen-phosphorus type (P-N-P), along with the preparation of the
corresponding complexes of Ni(ΙΙ) and Pd(II) is described. The ligands and the
complexes were characterized using muclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies
(NMR), while the molecular structure in the crystal was analyzed by X-ray
The catalytic activity of the complexes was mainly studies in C-C bond
formation reactions. The Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes were studied with respect
to their catalytic activity in Kumada and Stille reactions,respectively.
