Summary:
This thesis aims at satisfying the need of the researchers in the network
systems of the
Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Athens to
simulate network models in the ns-3 simulator in a faster and error free
fashion. The
thesis comprises entirely of the development of a web application that provides
a
Graphical User Interface (GUI). This GUI prompts the user to enter data that the
application will process in order to generate a source code file. This file can
be used as
input of the ns-3 simulator. The application was written in Java, JSP and
JavaScript and
was deployed and tested in the Apache Tomcat application server.
