Summary:
The game is called “BasketQuiz” and is an educational game. It is designed for
high school usage and especially as a learning supplement about the subjects of
mathematics and physics of all high school’s classes. The “BasketQuiz” is a
multiple
choice game which depending on the success or failure at finding the right
answer from
the student, the game’s character scores or misses a basketball shot.
Furthermore,
student is able to choose for how many points his shot will counts and in this
way
student collects points. The game’s purpose is learning easily in an
entertaining way.
Each student motivated by his will to achieve the highest score, is directed to
curriculum’s consolidation via the comprehensive explanations that are provided
by the
game after every question.
The second part, this present document, refers to information about the utility
of
informatics, programming and video games at schools. We are in position to
understand
what all these could offer to students that other school subjects cannot.
Moreover, we
understand how Greenfoot could be helpful on this project. Finally, there is an
analysis
of our own work on the game’s preparation.
