Summary:
The purpose of this thesis is the understanding and the study of the function
of the echo cancellation, which now takes place in all applications related to
communications via
voice. This specific function gives the opportunity to interlocutors to
communicate
without echo problems, which otherwise would make a similar communication almost
impossible. To understand deeply the significance of this function, multiple
algorithms that have been developed over recent years will be presented.
Furthermore, the results/comparisons of these algorithms will be illustrated
(using MATLAB) for a better understanding of the functionality of the echo
cancellation from the readers of this thesis.
