Summary:
Learning logic programming is one of the biggest challenges in the teaching of
computer science. Nowadays the structured programming and much more
object-oriented programming and algorithmic thinking they include have
dominated in absolute extent. As a result the students being familiar with
these type technologies (programming languages and environments) find it
difficult to go to a different way of thinking and the syntax that includes the
logical programming.
This paper aims to develop a web-based platform, which enables the individual
student to address these problems through the theory study, suitable examples
and self-assessment exercises.
As part of this work a brief overview of several notable learning platforms
will be done, both general and programming. They will then analyze all aspects
and our own system features (eProlog).
