Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to introduce a smart navigation algorithm for
electric vehicles so that they do not ever run out of electricity. The
algorithm takes into account the current range of the vehicle, the final
destination and existing charging stations as well. Based on the above, it
designates the route which may include charging stops. The paper also
introduces a charging spot reservation so the spot is instantly available upon
the arrival of the vehicle.
