Summary:
Objective of this research constitutes the evaluation of cognitive interference caused by emotional stimuli students with and without learning disabilities through Assay Interference Color-Word of Stroop (Emotional Stroop). In total, 64 children three primary schools of Athens, who were enrolled in the A, B, C, D, E and F grades. The 32 children were the group of typical students and the other 32 on the group of children with learning difficulties.Emotions, fear and pain of the students tested by administering self-report questionnaires. The reaction mode of the two sample groups of research (students with learning difficulties and students with formal skills) to various emotional stimuli, was studied by the test of Emotional Stroop test. The results showed that the category of positive emotion words or otherwise in Class 'Success', children with learning disabilities experienced significantly slower times compared with the times displayed by children with typical abilities and respectively in the category of negative emotion words or otherwise in Category "Failure"children with learning disabilities took longer to answer than the corresponding average time it took the children with typical abilities. Finally, it is worth mentioning that when participants were asked to evaluate their performance in the Emotional Stroop test of emotions, fear and pain experienced before and after applying the Emotional Stroop test, no statistically significant differences occurred in the average emotional values ​​among children with Typical Capacities and children with learning disabilities.
