This dissertation analyse the portrayal and the framing of Edi Rama, the political leader of Socialist Party of Albania by the RD (Democratic Renaissance) and Koha Jone (our time). In the second part of the dissertation we employ Ernesto Laclau's methodology and make a discourse analysis on the political rhetoric of Edi Rama and Sali Berisha. This dissertation concludes Edi Rama won the elections because of the unrepresentability that people of the country left from the previous regime.
