Summary:
While the number of non-profit organizations grow steadily, these organizations have begun to compete with each other to attract and retain donors. Most of them depend on individuals to achieve their mission. Before the rise of the Internet, fundraising achieved by face-to-face contract. However, the internet provides the nonprofit sector unprecedented opportunities for cultivating relationships with donors. Also non-profit organizations use extensively social media. It is undeniable that social media are essential for the survival of an organization because they cultivate relationships with donors. However, are these relations translated in donations? Can the impact of a non-profit organization in social media predict the success of the online fundraising process and what features should a social media post have in order to attract the stakeholders?
