Summary:
The paper presents the evolution of the institutions concerning the restoration of the damage caused by a crime against property in greek criminal law. The author examines at first the institution of active repentance in its initial and extended form and afterwards the institutions of abstention from criminal penalty and mediation, which were introduced under the Act nr. 3904/2010. In the end, the possibility of restoration of the damage caused to the state under the Act nr. 4312/2014 is being explored.
