Summary:
Anaphylaxis is an acute, life-threatening, clinical illness, which requires immediate and rapid response, vigilance and care.
Prospectively studied a wide range of anaphylaxis incidents attended the Emergency Department of Tzaneio GeneralHospital, between January 2016 and September 2016, in order to investigate the efficacy of H2 antihistamines, during the acute phase of anaphylaxis.
In the Emergency Department (ED), corticosteroid use, and antihistamines (H1 / H2 blockers). Administration H2 blocker helps acute anaphylaxis, but doctors mainly used as gastro protection and not a first-line drug for hypersensitivity reactions.
