The objective of this thesis is to study the course and the impact of new technologies in journalistic practice. The last twenty years significant changes have taken place in the media environment and the journalistic profession itself.
In this thesis we present the way in which the spectacular growth of internet, new forms of journalism through blogs, social media, but mainly through smartphones have affected the work of the journalist.
We investigate how well the user can be informed via the mobile journalism and we study how news application manage the political actuality.
As the frantic pace of everyday life impose rapid informing of the public about what is happening around the world, the use of applications form an area of concern and as it seems will continue to concern the science of Communication.
