Summary:
The education of children is a common concern of educators and their families, albeit with different responsibilities. Given this assumption, the present study set out to explore the nature of communication between school and family and the potential difficulties in their relationship. The framework of the analysis was limited to private primary education and particularly to optical parents. What we found is that the high expectations of parents, the value of education that place it in a prominent position and the parental involvement influences student performance and justify the choice of a private school. Although it noted that security also plays an important role for this entry. Particular for communicating with teachers, the content of this concerns student performance and behavior. As for the satisfaction they get the parents of the relationship and communication in the context of private education, it seemed that this is associated with certain conditions, such as solving the problems arising in the daily lives of their children. Then even parents consider the communication effective. Finally, the most interesting findings of the research is the tendency of parents to communicate with teachers on issues very seriously, even though they know that many parents are those involved in the school work because they pay fees.
