Development and Evaluation of an Educational Programme in Vocational Training of Employees, AEPT 1-25 - Year 2016, in Marketing and Sales via Active Learning Techniques: Contribution to Adult Education.
Summary:
A significant constituent of Lifelong Learning, and in particular of Vocational Education and Training, is the use of Active Learning Techniques. Active learning requires and involves the direct involvement of students in the learning process, the statement and exploration of former experience and sentiments of the people involved, trainer and trainees, along with interaction between and among them.
The interpretive validation and examination of these in combination with the suitability of their applicability and application, as well as the adult educator’s ability to determine, coordinate and facilitate the learning process is what this dissertation seeks to show.
Specifically, this study interprets, through the application of an Educational Program of Training in Marketing and Sales, exclusively via Active Learning Techniques, but also via the conduct of an empirical research - based primarily on the method of the Questionnaire and secondarily on Observation - the way that every trainer can stimulate interest and inclusion in the learning process to such a degree that the trainees will be so actively and substantially engrossed in it that they will not want to miss any chance to be a part of it, let alone abandon it.
