The language in the poetry of Georgios Vizyenos
Summary:
The language of Georgios Vizyenos will be studied and will be the main theme of this postgraduate work. More specifically, after a general reference to the biography and workshop of Vizyenos , his basic narrative and writing techniques and traits will be analysed as well as the forms of speech in his given texts (lower and poetic), the type of language used every time, in every circumstance , from each hero. The linguistic and stylistic choices of the writer will be commented on, in a timely way so that their literary function and functionality can be noted in the text and well as the purposes they serve. The most basic forms of speech are highlighted and are often related to the narrative of the text (narrative, narrator and focus), while at the end of the work an appendix is given with the most basic forms of speech and narrative techniques of the short stories to be examined. The aim of this paper is to study the language, as well as the wider writing techniques of Vizyenos, an important writer who needs more research from the current scientific community of literary science
