Traditional storytelling nowadays is flourishing especially in the field of educational activities but also in art context, as a performance presented to an audience, combining narration and theatrical play techniques. In addition to this another sort of expression arouses, that of the digital storytelling, as an evolution of the traditional form of narration, but based on digital media and transmitted by the internet.
This new digital form has deep roots in the ancestral and diachronic practice of oral narration, as a man's innate need to affront difficulties in life by the act of looking within himself and expressing codified feelings and thoughts through narrative (myth and storytelling). This admirable form of human communication is presented through a case study of ten French postgraduate students found in Athens of 2016 during a University program. Their work consisting in ten digital narrations has as theme the human adventure/Odyssey, based on which they perform their own search of valuable pieces of narrative tradition and human survival lessons among the people of the modern city. In ten digital stories they testimony their itinerary from the past of traditional storytelling to the present of digital storytelling by adding several messages through street art and movies.
