The use of the theory of multiple intelligences in the subject of language. A study case in the secondary education.
Summary:
This study in the field of the educational science is based on Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences. Particularly, three enents took place, in the subject of language that had been planned with targeted activities, in order to activate the student’s multiple intelligences in the classroom. These interventions had also been evaluated by each student, who had to complement a very specific questionnaire.
The aim of the study was to identify student’s perceptions regarding the factors that make teaching successeful with the application of the theory of MI.
Results revealed that students do really want many things to change for their language lessons. One very important change that students propose concerned the activities that have the potential to activate every student’s personal way of learning.
All other results are recorded in details in the chapter of descriptive statistics of this study.
