A basic tool for modern teachers to respond to these requirements is their professional development, which should be integrated into the long-term objectives and educational policy of the school units. The role of the Lead Director and his contribution is crucial for effective professional development. He is the one who is required to successfully carry out his administrative tasks, to form a vision and to turn his school unit into a living learning organization, always placing the teacher at the center.
