Summary:
The history of the Greek State is totally connected with the Orthodox Church, primarily because it was its help during the National Liberation struggle of 1821 and until the liberation, then due to the mutual effort of control and assistance of one to the other's issues. The present study is a brief overview of the Greek constitutional history and the issues raised by the constitutional arrangements as they were changing in Greek history.
