Summary:
In the present study the translational strategies chosen for the proper nouns (anthroponyms, toponyms, ergonyms and praxonyms) in the books translated and published within the Inter-Faculty Postgraduate Programme “Translation-Translatology" 2001-2016 are analysed. Proper nouns are classified by category and by translational technique in order to designate the current dominant translational tendancies.
