Summary:
The aim of the proposed topic is to study the energy security field in the subject complex focusing on the Security and Economy Pillars and their approach through the use of the appropriate quantitative analysis method with the help of the theoretical tools of the Geopolitical Analysis, to highlight the question of the viability of the planned project-project, which concerns the most convenient way of transporting natural gas through either LNG or subsea pipelines. This approach can be achieved by using cost elements to make a comparative analysis of alternative modes of transport in the area under consideration.
The geopolitical analysis will analyze the power redistribution among the actors taking place in the Eastern Mediterranean complex. With regard to the security pillar, it is intended to study at a theoretical level the policy and the energy security strategies implemented by the actors of the mentioned complex. In the pillar of the economy, quantitative methods will be used to indicate an appropriate mathematical model that will explain and propose the best economic and technical solution needed to make the business plan on how to dismantle natural gas in the energy markets viable. The study will use sources from greek and international literature as well as web-addresses of international, national, public and private organizations of prestigious prestige.
