INVESTIGATION OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING TEACHERS IN RELATION TO THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USE OF VIOLATION-PARTICIPATION TECHNIQUES IN THE CONTEXT OF THEIR
Summary:
AΒSTRACT
This work dealt with the study and investigation of the IEK trainers' perceptions of the effectiveness of the use of experiential participatory techniques in the context of their didactic work. This investigation focused on an educational institution in the public I.E.K. of Attica, specifically I.E.K. Galatsi, Halandri and Ampelokipi. The lack of research efforts involving IEK trainers led us to this particular job. The lack of research efforts involving I.E.K. trainers led us to this particular job. The aim of the research was to examine the effective implementation of experiential participatory techniques as well as the difficulties encountered in their implementation and how they are differentiated in relation to the individual characteristics: gender, age, years of service, branch-specificity, level of education. Quantitative descriptive research was used to investigate the research questions through statistical procedures but also qualitative research through interviews. We gathered 80 questionnaires and conducted 3 interviews to get the necessary information. The results of this effort have shown that the overwhelming majority of educators believe that the use of experiential techniques improves the quality of their teaching intervention and increases its effectiveness. Differences have been made with the experience of trainers, when their experience grows, there is a growing belief that the difficulties of applying experiential techniques are related either to the lack of theoretical knowledge of their application advantages or to the lack of theoretical knowledge in relation to the correct their application. Finally, these data were gathered and considered as a basis for inducement in a more beneficial educational process centred on the participants themselves.
