Τhe neoliberal biopolitics of memorandums: the greek case through speech analysis (2012-2015)
Summary:
This dissertation attempts to highlight the biopolitical dimensions of memorandums, using as a case study the greek reality between 2012 and 2015, through speech analysis.

More specifically, the working hypothesis is whether the monumental reforms are part of biopolitics as defined by Foucault - a process of disciplining the population that escapes from the traditional institutionalized forms of regulating the social life.

In essence, we will study speeches and articles of that time to see if the dominant discourse about the memorandum exercises a biopolitical power in the social body driving it to conform to the norms of neoliberalism.
