Summary:
The purpose of this senior thesis is to issue an unpublished canon of Saint Patapios. The present work consists of two parts, the first one, which includes lifes-miracles and history of the Saint Patapios' relic, and the second one in which a canon of Anastasios Koiaistoros is published from three manuscripts, Sinaiticus. gr. 583, Parisinus. gr. 1621 and Parisinus. gr. 1623. The same chapter is followed by annotation and literary device, which are included in the canon. The work is completed with annex which includes the encomium of Andrew of Crete, covers of the editions of the sacred devotionals, manuscripts photocopies, icons and photographs.
