MIRNAS and infertility. Correlation relationship with demographic data.
Summary:
Infertility is a problem facing more and more couples in modern times. However, science in the twenty-first century has been a stepping stone with applications in all fields, trying to solve the problems. In recent years, the areas of assisted reproduction and embryology have been the focus of science to reveal the reasons for infertility. For this reason, potential biomarkers that will indicate the difficulty or not of reproduction are investigated. In recent years, a lot of importance has been given to the analysis of microRNAs, a class of RNA, which seems to be well-used as biomarkers. In this dissertation, studies are presented and analyzed which demonstrate the effect of microRNAs at all levels of the reproductive process. Their effects, as well as their changes in reproductive dynamics, are reported separately for both men and women. There is a discussion trying to conclude if in the future we can use them as indicators of infertility to prevent and operate targeting each couple who seeks to become pregnant.
