Multi-criteria analysis of the role of Public Administration in handling terrorism. The case of the Hellenic Police as leading organization to address terrorist attacks.

The purpose of this diplomatic work is to study and analyze the phenomenon of terrorism in the light of its treatment by the Greek Police. Specifically:

- We will initially refer to human rights and freedoms and try to understand how they are affected by the cultivation of the climate of terrorism,

- Then we will analyze the global terrorist phenomenon by pointing out its various manifestations (ideological, religious, political and other reasons) and its consequences on the daily lives of citizens, especially on the occasion of the recent terrorist strikes.
The main part of the Work is devoted to the manifestation of terrorism in Greece and its management by the body of the Greek Police. In particular, we will refer to the origins and the analysis of the phenomenon in our country (causes-factors-conditions), as well as its further evolution, reaching today and the form it has taken in recent years.Through our findings, we will draw conclusions on the phenomenon as a whole and on proposals for its overall management by the Hellenic Police as the main body for dealing with terrorist attacks, both in the prevention and rehabilitation phases, taking into account the peculiarities and the temperament of Greek society.
