This thesis deals with the crime of the illegal access to information systems. It refers to the related international legal framework ( Convention on Cybercrime, Budapest 2001 ) as well as the european one ( Directive 2013/40/EU ) and it examens in detail the applicable article 370 C par.2, as amended by the Law 4411/2016 . Αdditionally, it refers to the previous version of that article, emphasizing in both the differences which took place and the judicial construction. Eventually, it attempts to provide a conclusion on the results of the applicable criminal provision.
