Corporate Transformations - Business Restructuring and the Protection of Workers in the Light of the Jurisdiction of the court of Justice of the European Union
Summary:
Today, businesses are living organisms that, in the context of business freedom and flexibility, are constantly looking for new forms of operation and growth, so that through their transformation they can respond to the contemporary issues arising from techno-economic development and adapt to new economic data and the challenges of modern life. But in the context of corporate transformations and business restructuring, the factor of labor relations and worker protection is also a crucial factor. In the process of corporate transformation, an attempt should be made to balance the opposing interests, as on the one hand the flexibility of the firm as a parameter of the employer's entrepreneurial freedom should be ensured and, on the other hand, the protection of industrial relations and workers' rights. This is the subject under examination in this dissertation.
