Summary:
Nowadays, the protection of the right to personality is very important, taking into account the development of technology, the abolition of borders and the invasion of internet in our everyday lives. The risk of a possible infingement of the right to personality is really high and may have different consequences. It is therefore necessary to study the provisions under Greek Private International Law as well as of the Regulation (EC) No. 864/2007 on the law applicable to non-contractual obligations (Rome II) and of the Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgenments in civil and commercial matters.
